The driving force behind inQuisit is Director Sally Williams. She formed the company in 2015 after many years as a health services researcher, adjudicator and review manager.
Sally has extensive expertise in best practice for professional regulation, complaints management, healthcare governance and quality improvement.
Research and reports
Sally has worked for regulators, think tanks and NHS organisations. She has authored and co-authored a range of published reports. She undertakes literature reviews, facilitates stakeholder events, designs surveys, leads site visits and focus groups, and conducts qualitative interviews.
Health service reviews
Sally has conducted more than 50 reviews of surgical, physician and paediatric services on behalf of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Royal College of Physicians, the British Orthopaedic Association, the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, and what used to be known as the National Clinical Assessment Service. Sally served as review manager for many of these reviews, which share in common a drive to improve the quality of patient care through supporting healthcare practitioners, managers and other NHS staff to embed national guidelines and professional standards.
Breadth of experience
Sally was Principal Adjudicator for ISCAS (Independent Healthcare Sector Complaints Adjudication Service) for seven years. She is an Education Associate with the General Medical Council (GMC). She has national board experience and also of NHS commissioning (with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough PCT and then its Clinical Commissioning Group).

Sally has an MA in Health and Community Care from Durham University.
